AllSaints, No Sinners for the Petite Fit
BRING IT ON DOWN TO THE ALLSAINTS SALE
When your clothing tastes are a bit expensive, but your bank account says you shouldn’t even try. They have a word for it, “broque.” That’s why I’m thankful for the deep winter clearance that makes its way into mid-Spring. AllSaints particularly has an amazing sale: up to 50% off plus an extra 30% off. You’ll find a $200 sweater for less than $80 and rejoice.
Recently discovering this cove of high fashion treasures, I thought I’d try an AllSaints sweater and see how they fit for petites. AllSaints is in UK sizing usually, so the smallest size 0 equates to an XXS. I purchased an XS to style for a sleek, core black outfit to fit in the Amsterdam scene.
I honestly didn’t realize how oversized the sweater would be and the sleeves were mega dolman style, almost like wings. However, it was the right type of oversized that high fashion style tends to embrace. I also have been leaning towards a more oversized, comfy look and pairs great with a slim mom jeans look. The hem is frayed and hits just above these flat boot chelsea boots.
I also purchased the AllSaints Kathi Chain Wallet Crossbody and it is a great length for my short torso! Thank ya lord for an adjustable strap. It’s the perfect purse to take on the go when all you need to carry are your cards, phone, and keys. The studs give it enough detail for a minimal style. The purse really completed the look minimalistic black look.
AllSaints sizing runs on the lankier side; even if the body fits perfectly, the sleeves are not as favorable petites. I bought an AllSaints sweatshirt as well and the sleeves were extra long and bulky compared to the fit. European clothing in general is like this, but I do think the sweaters are a great quality and if you like the oversized, but somehow fitted style, then you should try out AllSaints. I still have yet to purchase the holy grail leather jacket, and that will be the next sale purchase.
