And the Camel Shows its True Stripes

Black and camel, black and camel.

I have outdone myself with my camel colored things this season.   And there's no better way to wear camel than with black.  Camel has the same effect that black has on me; a sense of style that makes you feel luxe and confident.   The more camel, the more cool, amirite?

What could be better than a camel coat? A camel biker coat.  A biker coat is defined by a diagonal zipper that goes along the lapel, which is somehow just more badass. I knocked out both trends with this coat from Missguided for a steal AND it's available in petite size. Coats are always a challenge because only a handful are made for us short girls and are usually more pricey for a quality one.  It was by luck that I would find a coat that is edgy and chic but also not too big on me. Plus, it's for less than $100.  If you had to have only two coats, a black coat and a camel coat are all you need.

I paired this coat with my new favorite staple, a camel striped sweater, and a camel beret!  It's a clean cut crew style that is so chic and light.  I tend to buy heavy knits during the winter, but I only end up wearing them a handful of times. This one especially is a nice fit for my frame and can be classed up or casual-ed down.

Tell me, am I camel enough?
