Statement Midi in Camel

An ode to the perfect midi skirt.

Making a statement with a casual look is my ultimate wardrobe goal in everyday life. There's only so many ways you can the recreate basic tee and jeans look, but a statement midi brings the fun you've needed without trying too hard.  AND you can bring that statement into your neutral color pallet.  Black, white, and camel, all day every day.

Midi skirts are a short girl's best friend; they're the perfect length to pull of the maxi without dragging on the floor.  I especially love this Zara laced and embroidered midi skirt (sold out) with its hint of camel stripes.   To bring out the details, I've paired the skirt with a camel ringer tee from the Reformation. The self-tie black belt is a great way to accentuate your waist.  Add some suede mules, also known as the lazy girl heel, and you've got a great casual daytime look for an escapade to the city.

I worked Hopscotch Music Fest in a similar look, and the only thing I would recommend is carrying an extra pair of slides with you if you plan to do a lot of walking. I ran from one end of Raleigh to the next and my feet HATED me.  I ended up rickshawing to different venues and boy was that a relief.

I've linked some similar statement midis at the bottom and ringer tees to pair.
